WORLD THINKING DAY CELEBRATION IN KV NO. 1 AFS JORHAT

World Thinking Day, formally known as Thinking Day is celebrated annually on 22nd February around the world. 22nd February was chosen as it was the birthday of Scouting and Guiding founder Lord Robert Baden Powell and of Lady Olave Baden Powell, his wife and World Chief Guide. 

Celebration of Matribhasha Diwas ( Mother Tongue Day) at KVS AFS Jorhat

School have celebrated the Mother Tongue Day in advance organized different activities and Programmes.
The following activity are:-
Preamble reading in Assamese, Group Songs, Essay Competition, Exhibition on Indian language, Translation of word "Matribhasha Diwas" in official 22 languages.

The test should be taken voluntarily by interested students and must not be used to impose any subject, courses of study and/or vocations etc. on the students.
